THE BIG FAIRY SHARE SCARE

Okay, if anyone has any doubts about the claim that Fairly Oddparents has suffered from seasonal rot worse than Spongebob has, then this episode will erase those doubts in a heartbeat. The new intro already indicates that the newest character to the show is going to be a problem. Chloe Carmichael, a so-called perfect and totally selfless newcomer, automatically makes herself the most liked person in the classroom by revealing that it's a Parent-Teacher Conference Day, which gives them the day off from school, and stops a monster from rampaging a big city in a major news story. The first of those two should have been known to everyone, not pulled out of thin air, and the second of those two will come into conflict with Chloe's reputation. Jorgen comes along and makes Timmy share Cosmo and Wanda with Chloe because there are less fairies taking the godparent job (again, it's pulled out of thin air). Chloe makes a wish for sharing and this proves a disaster in ways that could have easily been done without her. Chloe's wish makes people take away other people's own possessions without consideration and we see that no wish can ever work out right. A little side note, why did that guy who took the fire hydrant not take note of Cosmo and Wanda who are fairies? And shouldn't Cosmo and Wanda have attempted to disguise or hide themselves from him? Chloe saves Timmy and undoes her bad wish to have the episode rub it in Timmy's face that she's better than him. When asked why Chloe would ever need fairies, Chloe's explanation is that her kind acts always backfire and only make things worse for her and those around her. First of all, her revelation that they shouldn't have had school had no bad effects whatsoever. Second of all, stopping the rampaging monster to only have it be even more destructive was never mentioned in the news story even though it should have been and should have exposed Chloe as being far from perfect. Finally, if Chloe makes bad things worse on her own with no help at all, doesn't giving her fairies just add to the mayhem? In the end, Timmy decides to share Cosmo and Wanda with Chloe because... he had an exciting day because of her. Yes, that's it. On a footnote, where were Poof and Sparky in this episode? I know that Poof couldn't have done much and that Sparky should never have been put in the show too, but couldn't we have had some explanation? I still think that Rugrats has done a worse job on adding new characters to try and keep itself alive, but as things stand right now, FOP is working hard to take that crown. Spongebob, any chance you could tell Fairly Oddparents the secret to getting better again? Like, say you could tell them how disturbing images of things like 'fish lips' just turn people off?

Fun fact 2 getting married to your fairy can make you related only if you have a contract to prove that you're married to one already.
